Speak to someone who understands
As someone who has lived in foreign countries with initially less than fluent language skills, I know how important it can be to find someone to whom you can express yourself in the semantical intricacies of your own language.
In addition, I have personal experience of finding my way in foreign places and the difficulties that may be associated with finding new social circles, fitting into a new work environment, getting to grips with bureaucracy and various public services.

I can offer you an empathic, warm and safe environment to speak about current challenges in your life, that may be related to family, romantic, work or social relationships, grief and bereavement, stress and burnout, decision making as well as personal identity development.

Please note, that I do not currently offer "Psychotherapy" which is, according to German law, the use of the healing arts to improve the wellbeing of mentally ill people, i.e. with a diagnosis of mental illness. In order to practice as a psychotherapist in Germany, my British degree (D.Clin.Psych.) needs to undergo a comparison of equivalency at the Regierungspräsidium Stuttgart, which I am currently persuing to receive my "Approbation" in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. As result, I only accept self-paying customers. Health insurers in Germany do not cover counselling for people without a diagnosis of mental illness.
